Matthew Bennett Is Toronto Based Actor & Photographer.

Matthew has appeared in hundreds of episodes of Television and has worked on many Award Winning Series such as the Sci-Fi sensation Battlestar Galactica, Orphan Black and Canada’s hugely popular Murdoch Mysteries.

With more than 30 years experience in the Canadian Film and Television Industry Matthew’s Acting career has taken him to many places around the world and he has performed with a number of Emmy and Academy Award winning Artists including Edward James Almos, Brenda Fricker and Sissy Spacek.

Born and raised in Toronto, Matthew studied Arts in High School with the intent of pursuing a career in Graphic Design but soon came across the school’s Theatre program and discovered his passion for Acting & Writing which led him to Vancouver to start his formal training.

Having always been drawn to graphics and the visual elements of Story Telling, Matthew recognizes The Power That Images Have to relay ideas that can have a significant impact on the viewer and is an integral component to how he approaches his work to create “Connected Images” that make people stop and pay attention.
